He leaves behind his beloved wife of 40 years, Linda Jones; his sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Nancy Jones, and Lewis, Jr. and Tasha Jones; his grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, Jessie, Amber, Emily, Adam, and Hanna Jones; his sisters, Opal Decker, and Shirley Douglas; brothers, Bob Jones, and Johnny Jones; he also leaves countless nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
Although he will be dearly missed, we know that he is at home with the Lord. He will always be remembered as a "Jesus Man", for that was who he was every day.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00 P.M., Thursday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, with Rev. Steve Strickland officiating. Interment will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, at Shoal Creek Cemetery, with Rev. Lewis Jones, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, prior to the service at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
