Marilyn T. Evans, 77 was born on March 31, 1944, to the late William and Mary Alice Page in Sumter, SC. She gained her heavenly wings on September 14, 2021.

She attended public school in Logan, WV and was part of the last graduating class from Aracoma High School. Marilyn then went on to WV State University to earn her master's degree in teaching and was also a member of the AKA Soritey. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and so much more. Marilyn loved all her students and was a great educator at Stirrat, Monaville, and Omar. She retired from Omar Elementary in 2014, where she taught 1st grade. Marilyn was respected, loved, and admired by all her colleagues and students.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brothers, Larry Page and William Page; children, Clarence (Shelia) Evans Jr., Jason D. Evans, and Olga Marcum (David Bryant); 9 grandchildren, who she loved dearly, and she was known to them and "Grandme".
