Mrs. June Faye Smith, 71, of Road Fork, passed away Monday evening, September 20, 2021 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Juanita Stewart Mills born on August 2, 1950 in Clay County.

June was a homemaker and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, shopping and was known to be a happy-go-lucky person.

On October 16, 1967, she united in marriage with Earl Smith and to this union three children were born.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; a son, Anthony "Tony" Smith; an infant sister, Patricia Mills and a brother, Chalice Mills.

Survivors include her beloved children, Earl Steven Smith and Tammy Wagers and Jody Smith and wife, Rachel, all of Road Fork; four sisters, Mae Bright and husband, Ed, of Cincinnati, OH, Viola Cole and husband, Duane, of Flat Lick, Phyliss McCreary and husband, Ronnie, and Dena Campbell and husband, Benny, all of Gray; four brothers, Ernest Mills and wife, Trivia, Paul Mills and wife, Kay, Rev. Herman Mills and wife, Joyce, and Larry Mills and wife, Ragena, all of Flat Lick; seven treasured grandchildren, Morgan, Tyler, Megan, Jonah, Jacob, Sarah and Bella; two great grandchildren, Rylan and Bailee; among other loved ones and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Thursday, September 30 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Jerry Smith and Rev. Charles Carnes officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Hubbard Cemetery in Clay County. Casket bearers will be family and friends. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Thursday prior to the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
