Ricky Lee Wells, 63, Eminence, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Jewish Hospital Shelbyville. A native of Oldham County, he was the son of the late Harold Lee and Katherine Elizabeth Bramblett Wells. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served his country during the Vietnam War Era. His career began at Roederer Correctional Facility, where he worked as a security officer. He then worked as a glazer for Cranmer Glass Company in Eminence. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing and pitching horseshoes. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, one brother, James Russell Wells and one sister, Connie Sue Hundley, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years, Tammy Cranmer Wells of Eminence; one daughter, Stephanie Marie (William) Burden of Pendleton; three sons, Matthew Thomas Wells, Mason Lee Wells and Morgun Earlray Wells, all of Eminence; two brothers, Harold Ray Wells of Louisville and Bobby Gene Wells of Eminence; two sisters, Pamela Carol (Ricky) Nelson of Pleasureville and Kathy Louise (Donnie) Broughton of Gestville; three grandchildren, Tyler Wayne Hayes, Nevaeh Elizabeth Wells and Jaxon Thomas Wells and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation has been selected in accordance with his wishes. Arrangements have been entrusted to Webb Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.webbfuneralhome.com.
