He worked at PPG Industries as a warehouse manager, and was a member of the VFW and St. Paul's Community Church. He had a passion for flying, and enjoyed traveling and camping. He loved his family and was greatly loved by them.
Ira is survived by: his wife, Shirley; children: Cheryl Cross and Lori Lase; grandchildren: Jason and Tia Cross, Kevin and Hannah Lase, Karen and Michael Rutt, Eric and Melissa Lase, and 11 great grandchildren.
