He served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam war from 1972 to 1974. He retired from GM/Delphi as a welder in 2007 after 30 years. He loved walking his dogs and building computers.
John is survived by one son, Brian Crow of Youngstown, NY; and his sisters, Ann (Patrick) Davis of Youngstown, NY, and Mary Stapleton of Houston, TX; also several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother, Douglas (late Ellen) Crow.
Calling hours will be Friday, June 11th from 1-3 PM at the Hardison Funeral Home, N. Fourth and Ridge Streets, Lewiston, NY. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 PM in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Youngstown Volunteer Fire Co., PO Box 387, Youngstown, NY 14174.
