Mac's mother died in 1930, and his father married Margaret Naomi Foster in 1932. After he graduated from Stratton High School, Mac enlisted and served in the Navy. In May of 1952, he married Mary Elaine Petri, and they were married many years until her passing. He worked an aviation mechanic at the original Frontier Airlines from 1947 to 1986. After that airline was murdered, he worked at Continental Airlines for a year and a half prior to retiring in fall of 1988. In retirement, he worked full time on his family farm near Hudsont, which he had purchased in May of 1966. He was so lucky to find love twice. On November 16, 2002, he married Edith Cherry in Brighton at The Church of God, the same church they continued to attend for many years. He enjoyed talking with friends and loved to dance with Edith. Survived by Edith and son William G. Meguire of Fort Lupton; preceded by first wife Mary Elaine, son Michael A. Meguire and sibling Allen Meguire and Betty Walts.
