Donald "Donnie" Runyan, age 78, passed away Sept. 6, 2009 in North Carolina.
He was a former resident of Sedalia, Missouri. He moved to North Carolina to be closer to his daughter. He had many good friends in Missouri including his best friend Bob Tucker and his good neighbors in Elm Hills.

Survivors include his son Lonnie and wife Julie of La Crosse, WI. Daughters Vickie Parker and friend Carlos Green of Benbrook, TX., LuAnn and husband Randy Wood of Elon, NC., Brother Delbert of Nebraska. Two stepdaughters Jan Blackburn and Shani Cooper-Rea Both of Sedalia. Seven grandchildren, Four stepgrandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Joyce and brother Marvin.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Nebraska.
Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory of Burlington, NC was in charge of cremation.
