"Mrs. Vina Tennessee Harwell died at the home of her son in Fort Worth, Texas, last Wednesday evening, June 10th. Funeral services were held at her home in Marlow, Okla., Friday, June 12th, conducted by Rev. H. W. Stigler, and interment was in the city cemetery.
Vina Tennessee Roberts was born in Rome [sic] county, Tennessee, November 6th, 1862, and died June 10th 1925. She was married to W. H. Harwell on December 18th, 1879. They moved to Marlow, Okla., in 1906.
Mrs. Harwell was known among her friends as a dear, sweet Christian woman, and was always kind and cheerful to those around her. She always tried to lift high the life of her dear ones. Dear Mother, the one that is missed most of all. She leaves a husband, four sons, four daughters, and many friends to mourn her loss."
