Joyce was born on December 7, 1931 in South Bend to the late Gerald E. and Lydia A. (Derhing) Rensberger. Joyce married Victor J. Scott on December 21, 1980 in Sauk Village, IL. She is survived by her daughters, Joan K. Murray of Teegarden, Brenda J. Ponce of Rensselaer, step-daughters, Vickie A. (Howard) Cassan of TX and Ame E. Langhan of Dephaney, AL and step-son, Scott of Bellville, TX, sister, Beverly J. Cook of Xenia, OH, thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, step-son, Keith L. Eshelman and sister, Joan C. Rensberger.
Joyce retired from Headstart in 1996 as assistant teacher. She had lived in the Michiana area since 1996, coming from Monroeville, AL.
Memorial contributions for Joyce should be made to Center of Hospice Care, 510 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
A Celebration of Life for Joyce will be on Friday, September 17th from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM with the service at 1:00 PM at Hanley and Sons Funeral Home "Walkerton Chapel" located at 1216 Roosevelt Road, Walkerton, IN with Pastor Vito Rulli. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery in South Bend.
