Mrs. Delois Bell Locklear of Lumberton, NC passed away Friday April 24, 2020 at her home.

She was born in Robeson County on July 7, 1934 to the late, Rev. James E. Bell & the late Mrs. Bertha Brewington Bell.

Mrs. Delois was owner/operator of Country Florist for over 30 years were she took special delight in every arrangement. Her greatest love were her children, grandchildren and family.

She found joy in helping little children that came up short at the checkout and providing a meal for the hungry.

Along with her parents Mrs. Delois was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis Angela Locklear; a brother, Carlie E. Bell and his wife Marie; and three sisters, Arleen Bell, Aileen Holmes and her husband (Normie) and Jean Judge and her husband, Ed.

Mrs. Delois is lovingly remembered by her husband of 66 years married on March 13, 1954, Redell Locklear; two daughters, Linda L. Lowery and her husband (Lennon), Bertha Catina Locklear (Jason); and his son, Connor; two sons, Anthony Dell Locklear and Lannie Dell Locklear; and her five pride and joy grandchildren, Ledrian H. Lowery, LaTara A. Lowery, Caleb P. Locklear and Phyllisia D. Simmons and her husband Conrad; and two great granddaughters all of Greenville SC; and a host of family and friends.
