He was a graduate of Salem College in WV and proudly served in the US Army. Tom served as Trustee at Welkind Rehabilitation Hospital and as Board Member of the Henry Kessler Foundation. Additionally, he served as a Board Member and Greens Chairman at Mendham Golf & Tennis Club, and was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church. He retired in 2007 from Bollinger Insurance Inc. as a Senior Executive Vice President. He was an avid golfer, active in Chester Youth Sports programs and loved his family vacations at Normandy Beach, NJ.
Tom is survived by his best friend and beloved wife of 52 years Susan (Weller) Marks; three devoted children, Jennifer Marks Cohan of Far Hills, NJ, Christine Marks Harley and husband John of Burke, VA, Bryan Thomas Marks and wife Jessica of Gladstone, NJ; six cherished grandchildren, Morgan and Elise Cohan, Jack and Virginia Harley, Isabella and Logan Marks; brother, Kevin Marks of Tempe, AZ; and by many other loving family members and friends.
