A graveside service for Bryan Anthony Fields will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Prewitt's Chapel Cemetery, 383 Prewitt Chapel Road, with Reverend Brian Gilcrease officiating under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at Jeane's Funeral Service, 100 E. Union St. Leesville, LA on Friday, September 24th from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Bryan was born December 14, 1978, in Many, LA and passed away September 20, 2021, in Hardy, AR at the age of 42. He lived in the Hornbeck area most of his life until he moved to Hardy, Arkansas three years ago. He was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church and American Legion Post #336. Bryan enjoyed working with the youth at church and helped grow the youth group at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was a gifted musician and used his talent while playing in several gospel groups. When he was 13 years old, he joined the Southern Plainsmen and traveled with them for five years. Bryan was also part of Hearts United, 4 Days Late, and HIS. He enjoyed fishing and was an honest and loyal friend.
Bryan was preceded in death by his father, Garry M. Fields.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Virginia Fields of Hardy, AR
sons, Bentley Aaron Fields of Hornbeck, LA, Dylan Birkhead, and Deklan Birkhead both of Hardy, AR;
daughters, Karlea Fields of Hornbeck, LA, Dallas Birkhead, and Danika Birkhead both of Hardy, AR;
mother and stepfather, Carolyn and Archie Hardy of Anacoco, LA;
brother, Garry W. Fields and wife Angie of Hornbeck, LA;
sister, Rhonda Leo and husband Kerry of Tennessee;
and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Brian Gilcrease, Stuart Martin, Carl Smith, Stephen Martin, Jeff Martinez, and Michael Lightsey. Honorary pallbearers will be Nate Rackmayer, and Shawn Suiters.
