Actor. He was best known to television viewers as Fireman Chet Kelly on the popular NBC series "Emergency!" from 1972 to 1978. He got his start in acting in an uncredited role on the 1957 film "Baby Face Nelson." He would later appear in such films as "The Secret of Santa Vittoria," (1969) "The Toolbox Murders," (1978) and "The Clonus Horror." (1979) He made his television debut on the series "The Legend of Jesse James" in 1966. Besides "Emergency!," he went on to appear in such series as "The Virginian," "Hawaii Five-0," "Dragnet," "Adam-12," "Project U.F.O," and "The A-Team." His brother, Dennis Donnelly, was also in the entertainment industry, as a film and television director. He later worked in the art department on various motion pictures, television series and commercials.
