Sudar, Ann Theresa Kosovich

SUDAR, Ann Theresa Kosovich 1915-2007
Ann passed away on her 72nd wedding anniversary, June 1, 2007 at the age of 91 of natural causes.

She was born in Lark, Utah on Aug. 17, 1915 to George and Manda Kosovich. She married the love of her life, Frank Sudar on June 1, 1935 and spent a wonderful life with him until his death Feb. 18, 1972.

Her brothers and sisters all knew her as a fighter and loved her for her strong spirit and personality. Ann led a healthy, wonderfully active life. Her lively, ambitious and generous spirit contributed to her success as a grocery woman and active humanitarian in the Portland Oregon Community. Ann spent her life enjoying her grocery stores in Portland, (the B&M and Taylor Court Grocery) and loving her friends and family.

Her last years were spent in Utah with her favorite niece and best friend, Paula Pollick Swanson; and her sons, Adam, Ryan, Andrew and Gerry Swanson; her sister, Mary Kosovich Magers; her nephew, George Kosovich and other family and friends. Her best friends, whom she considered family, Betty and Bob Hayden, took wonderful care of her during her last years in Portland and are greatly appreciated as are Marsha Kallas, Kathy Jackson and Amber Wright, her beloved caregivers.

Ann will be missed by everyone who knew her. We love you Annie, give Frank that kiss you have been waiting to give him for the last 35 years.

Friends and family are welcome to visit Ann at Farnstrom-Gable Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 8, 2007 at 10 a.m. for visitation. Catholic Mass will follow at 11a.m. including a time for friends and family to speak in remembrance. A light lunch will then be provided by the ladies of the Ascension Catholic Church.
