Bro. Brown, age 90, of St. Augustine, passed away on May 6, 2018. He was born in Minneola, Florida, grew up in Colbert, Georgia and has resided in St. Augustine, Florida over 39 years. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II. Throughout his life, he was pastor to Whitehall Baptist Church, Open Bible Tabernacle in Athens, GA and Victory Tabernacle in St. Augustine, Florida. He was Assistant Pastor to Victory Tabernacle at his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Clara Brown. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 68 years, Betty Brown. Three children: Terry Brown of Jeffersonville, IN, Patricia Temple (Ron) St. Augustine and Keith Brown (Charity) St. Augustine, FL; twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren; and two sisters: Lunette West of Acworth, GA and Melba Fields of Colbert, GA.
Viewing will be held Saturday, May 12th from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Victory Tabernacle and "A Going Home Celebration" will be held at 12 p.m. on Sunday, May 13th at Victory Tabernacle, 900 Cypress Rd., St. Augustine, FL 32086. Burial will be at Craig Memorial Park with Military Honors.
Flowers are welcome; however; if you would like to donate a "Love Offering" to Sis. Brown in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Victory Tabernacle.
Craig Funeral Home Crematory Memorial Park is in charge of arrangements.
