Charles David Upton, 76, of Sonora, passed away Thursday September 16, 2021 at his residence in Sonora.
He was born in Sonora to Opal and Ella Ann Upton. David had worked at Gates for over 13 years and was a contract builder and built barns.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Israel Upton, two brothers, Albert Lee Upton, William Randell Upton, and one sister, Doris Jean Hawks.
He is survived by his loving wife Linda Napper Upton of Sonora, KY. two sons, David Dewayne (Pam) Upton of Sonora, KY, Jonathan Daniel (Tara) Upton of Sonora, KY, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday September 25, 2021 11:00 am at Manakee Funeral Home in Sonora, KY with Rev. Neil Price officiating. Burial will be held at the Sonora Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm or Saturday 9:00 am till time of the service at the Manakee Funeral Home in Sonora.
