Obituary of Lillian L Fisher
Lillian L. Fisher, 68, of Bedford RD 7, formerly of Bedford RD 1, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 1993, in the palliative care unit of Memorial Hospital of Bedford County.
She was born April 11, 1926, in Bedford, a daughter of the late Otto P. and Stella (Stuckey) Lauffer.
She was married to Charles Robert Fisher, and he preceded her in death Oct. 5, 1971.
She is survived by the following children: Susan C. Fisher, Dana M. Burket and Patricia L. Kirk, all of Malibu, Calif., and Charles W. Fisher, Mary Ann Fisher, William R. Fisher and Lynn T. Baer, all of Bedford; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lorraine Hunsicker of Bedford.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Maxine James, and a grandson.
Mrs. Fisher was a former member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters. She also was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Essex Yacht Club of Baltimore, Md.
She was previously the owner and operator of Fisher's Garage near Bedford.
Funeral services: 11 a.m. Monday in the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, with the Revs. John Vago and Mark Begley officiating. Burial in St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Those wishing may make contributions to the palliative care unit of Memorial Hospital of Bedford County, Everett RD 1, or the American Cancer Society, 133 S. Richard St. Rear, Bedford.
