He is survived by his wife, Glenda Smith of Lexington;; 1 son, Matthew Smith (Jennifer) of Lexington; 1 daughter, Deena Taylor (Randy) of Lexington; 1 step son, Eddie Bray (Kathy) of Lexington; 1 step daughter, April Villafabos of Jackson; 3 brothers, Malcom Smith, Kenny Smith, and Patrick Smith; 2 sisters, Belinda Key and Darla Harris (Morris); 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Hughes and his father, Pete Smith.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 22 at 1PM at Reed's Chapel with burial to follow in Ridge Grove Cemetery.
