Betty Jo Cunningham, age 82, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020, at St. Frances Hospital in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was born July 7, 1938, in Honey Grove, Texas, to parents Curtis and Ina Terrell. She worked most of her life as a professional seamstress. She was a long-time member of the Woodland Heights Baptist Church where she was very active with the youth program for many years. She married James Floyd Cunningham on 08/24/56 in the McCraws Chapel community near Honey Grove.

Graveside services will be held at the Oakwood Cemetery in Honey Grove, Texas, at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 31st by Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home and will be officiated by Terry Paul Cunningham. Active pallbearerss; Stan Hodges, Alan Hodges, Mac Terrell, Brent Cunningham.

Honorary pallbearers: J. D. Cunningham and Tommey Jackson.

She is survived by her daughter Deborah Johnson and husband Ty of Checotah, OK., son Mike Cunningham and wife Donna of Chacotah, OK., daughter Tamyara Wiginton of Tyler, Texas. Grandchildren Kelly Keller and husband Chris, Amanda Deherrera and husband Isaiah, Jacob Wiginton, Brenna Johnson, Ryan Johnson and wife Kensie, and Devan Johnson. She had seven great-grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Cunningham and her grandson R. J. Wiginton. She is survived by brothers, Richard Terrell and his wife Edna, Jack Terrell and his wife Elisa, Ray Terrell and his wife Phyllis.
