KENNITH'S OBITUARY
A private family visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Kennith Lewis Barber, 77, of Columbia, who passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at his residence.
Kennith was a life-long resident of Marion County. He retired from truck driving in 2015. He enjoyed working in his yard and long jeep rides. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Robert and Mary Lucille Barber; sisters, Elois Summers and Mary Nell Fortenberry.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Barber of Columbia; sons, Shawn Barber (Teresa) of Seminary, Zane Barber (Summer) of Purvis; grandsons, Dallas Barber (Bryanna) of Long Beach, Brandt Barber of Purvis; great granddaughters, Delilah and Eleanor Barber of Long Beach; brothers, Harril Barber (Sharon), Bennie Jo Barber (Bobbi), Wayne Barber; sisters, Wanda Broom, Elaine Crain (Harold), Carol Barber, and Carolyn Barber; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital in his name.
