Joseph Vincent Adams, a career salesman and life-long resident of Houston, passed unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the age of 83.

Joe is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia; and his children Vince and his spouse Bonnie, and Patrice and her spouse Kevin; his grandchildren Tyler, Kyle, and Whitney and her spouse Chase; and his great-grandchildren Wesley and Reid; his sisters Dorothy and her spouse Monroe and Lucille and her spouse Tom; his brother-in-law Lamar; and his nephews and niece Ted and his spouse Janet, Charles, and Shelly and her spouse Bill, Jeff and his spouse Emily, Ray and his spouse Shealee. Great nephews and great nieces: Randy, Caitlyn, Billy, Justin, Jack, Cooper, Taylor, Reece, Brilee, and Rowe.

Joe was born on June 07, 1938 in Houston, Texas to Charles and Annie Adams. He graduated from Regan High School and his career included working for Weingarten's, Carnation, Johnson & Cook, and S.P. Richards. After 23 years of a very successful career, Joe retired from S.P. Richards. Joe also serviced in the US Army and Army Reserves in the Air Defense Artillery and Medical Corps.

Joe was a devoted member of Tallowood Baptist Church where he was the Senior Trip Coordinator and planned outings to museums, concerts, restaurants and out of town trips.

Joe enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, bowling, and cruising. He loved spending time with his family and friends and his little dog Emma.
