Alvin Odie Malone, 71, of Athens, died Wednesday.
The funeral was today at 2 p.m. at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Charles Gray officiating. Burial was in the Reunion Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Blankenship of Athens; a brother, Ronald Malone Sr. of Athens; three sisters, Mildred Swanner of Athens, Ollie Eckstein of Ardmore and Jeanette Mitchell of Cornersville, TN; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
