MILWAUKEE, WI – Marcus A. Holloway, 50 died September 14, 2021, at Aurora West Allis Medical Center.
He was born on June 23, 1971, in Sterling, the son of Elmer and Valarie (Guinn) Holloway.
He married Jennifer L. Creekpaum on August 20, 1994 in Rock Falls. Marcus had worked as a bus driver for several years. He was a good husband, dad, son, uncle and friend to many. Marcus was a selfless man who was extremely hard working and did all he could for his wife and daughters. He had coached youth football, girls' softball and T-Ball and had mentored many youth. He was an excellent cook and had a "green thumb" when it came to gardening.
Survivors include his wife; his daughters, Amanda Holloway (Cristian Rojas-Benoy) and Katie Holloway; his mother, Valarie Holloway; his brother, Andy Holloway; brother and sisters in law: Leon (Audrey) Creekpaum, Sheri (Joseph) Sheley and Wendy (Teray) Boyer; nieces and nephews: Ashley Hemminger, Jessica Melani, Dylan (Katie) Creekpaum, Toni VanDrew, Sarah (Nate) Stichter, Chris Sheley (Mercedes), Ryan Sheley (Hannah), Nathan (Lindsey) Cox, Ashley Creekpaum, Jesse Creekpaum, Andrew (Nicole) Creekapaum and Brandon Creekpaum; his lifelong buddies, Paul Pack and Mark Ellefson and his special fur babies: Lovey and Smallz.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Hemminger and his father, Elmer Holloway.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Harvest Time Bible Church, 1802 Dixon Rd, Rock Falls. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am with Reverend Dalmus Meeks officiating. Burial will conclude at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
