John worked as a Security Guard. John was a very loving and kind man, who would help anyone in need. He was also known as a man who could scare the daylights out of you and then make you laugh all in one sentence. His greatest joys in life came from the time spent and memories made with all of his family. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
John is survived by his daughters, Glevenia "Poodie" Lopez of Jennings, LA, Nicole Thibodeaux of Hackberry, LA; his sister, Darlene Dupuis of Jennings, LA; his brother in laws, Gerald Thibodeaux & John Stacey Thibodeaux; sister in law, Belinda Abshire; his nieces & nephews, Jessica Morvant, Billy Jack Morvant, Michael Morvant, Rachel Thibodeaux, Rondall Lopez, Randy Lopez, & Miranda Lopez; as well as his granddaughters, Destiny Thibodeaux & MaKayla Lopez.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin & Norma Lee Lopez; his wife, Teena Lopez; his granddaughter, Kristan Thibodeaux; his brothers, Wade "Ray Boy" Lopez & Charles Melvin Lopez; his brother-in-law, Dalton Thibodeaux.
The family of John has decided to honor his wishes of cremation and a Service may be announced at a later date.
