Ann D. Stewart, 70, Etowah, NC went home to be with the Lord on September 12, 2021 at the Elizabeth House after a brief illness. Ann was born on December 20, 1950 in Clinton, NC, to the late Ross S. Douglass and Edith Stepp Douglass.
She had spent most of her life as a homemaker raising her family in the Tuxedo, Zirconia, and Saluda, NC areas of Henderson County.
Ann is survived by her three children: Denise of Raleigh, NC, Walter of Hendersonville, NC, and Marie of Etowah, NC, and their families; and one sibling Charles Douglass of Saluda, NC. She is also survived by many grand children, great-grand children, nieces, and nephews.
Ann was predeceased by her parents Ross S. Douglass and Edith Stepp Douglass; and two sisters, Virginia "Ginny" Stanley and Hazel "Beth " Pace.
No graveside service will be held at her request. A celebration of life will be scheduled after the pandemic.
