Anna Louise Gertrude Hardesty, 84, of Dresden passed away at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville on Wednesday September 15, 2021.

Anna was born in Cleveland on February 7, 1937 to the late William R. and Gertrude (Fleury) Knopf. She graduated from Crestwood High School in Mantua, Ohio in 1955. Anna was a member of the Garden Club, Eastern Star and enjoyed artwork, painting, horses, traveling and riding Goldwing motorcycles with her husband Joseph. Joseph and Anna enjoyed making wood crafts together, Joseph would do the wood carving and Anna would complete with oil paint, they traveled all over together going to craft shows.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years Joseph Lee Hardesty; children Joan Hardesty of Tucson, AZ and Joseph "Butch" (Tammy) Hardesty of Delphos, OH; one sister Jacquelyn Miller of Lima, OH; numerous grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Patricia Hardesty; brother Bill Knopf and brother-in-law Donald Miller.

Per Anna's wishes, a cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
