PATRICIA RAE GRAY, a long time Napa resident, passed away August 25, 1995, at her home in Napa. Patricia was 57.
Patricia was born in Stickney, South Dakota on September 10, 1937, to Howard V. and Iva L. (Merritt) Grandrath. Patricia came with her family to Benicia in 1952. The family moved to Napa in 1954. She graduated from Napa High School in 1955. Patricia and Jack D. Gray were married In the Napa Presbyterian church on July 2, 1955. Patricia and her husband moved to Vallejo in 1956 where they resided until 1968. Patricia worked for several years as a psychiatric technician at Imola State Hospital prior to beginning to raise her family in the early 1960s. She enjoyed family life, genealogy, travel, and the collection of antiques.
Patricia is survived by her husband Jack of Napa; son Guy and daughter-in-law Karen of Vacaville; daughters, Darcy Ramer and son-in-law Harold of Nampa, Idaho; brothers James of Vallejo and William of Napa; sister Barbara "Dee Dee" Nelson of Napa, half- sister Edith Mendelsohn of New York and grandchildren Shane and Shenell Ramer, Jessica and Bryan Gray and Lynn Scroggins. Patricia is predeceased by her mother, father, half- sister Betty Briese and son-in-law Vance Scroggins.
Friends are Invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday, August 29, 1995, at 2 p.m. at the Claffey and Rota Funeral Home, 1975 Main Street at G Street, Napa. Reverend Erwin Bollinger will officiate. Cremation, Tulocay Cemetery. Inurnment will be at Napa Valley Memorial Park.
