She was born on January 6, 1922 in Ulm, Germany. Marianne loved knitting, gardening, and caring for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her three children, Don of Fort Wayne, IN, Christine (Harrison) of Azusa CA, Donna (Taylor) of Lowell, MI, eight grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Don, her loving husband.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. Interment will follow in Maple Ridge Cemetery in Holt. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family asks that donations be made to Faith Hospice, 2100 Raybrook St. SE, Suite 300, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.
