Iran I. Foster "Doc" Godwin, 66, of 6504 Alma Highway, Van Buren, Arkansas, died Friday, October 4, 1985 in a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital.

He was the owner of Godwin Auto Parts before he retired and a member of Van Buren Masonic Lodge No. 6. the Van Buren chapter of the Royal Arch and the Amrita Grotto, and the First Baptist Church in Van Buren.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters; Vickie Lee and Janie Christie; three sons; a sister, Reva; two brothers; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services was held at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, with Masonic graveside services at Gracelawn Cemetery.

Murl Walker and George Domerese officated the services. Arrangements were by Ocker Funeral Home.
