John Robert Huff, Jr. known to most as "Robbie" of Ironton, Missouri passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 86 years. He was born on April 8, 1935, to the late John Robert, Sr, and Lucy Lillian (Bell) Huff.
On October 3, 1959, he was united in marriage to Ella Lynell (Cleveland) Huff who preceded him in death on February 28, 2018.
Robbie is survived by his son, John Richard "Rich" Huff (Jeana) of Park Hills, Missouri; three brothers: Gary Huff (Betty) of Park Hills, Missouri; Roger Huff (Sharon) of Marquand, Missouri; and Ricky Huff (Sara) of Bella Vista, Arkansas; one sister, Jane Whelan (Bill) of St. Louis, Missouri; his sister-in-law, Joyce Huff of Springfield, Missouri, two grandchildren: John Richard Huff II (Brittni) of Ironton, Missouri and Kirsten Huff of Park Hills, Missouri; two great-grandchildren: Korbyn and Kinley; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Robbie was a 1953 graduate of Ironton High School. Robbie was the owner of Huff Construction Company of many years. In addition to new construction, he and his wife, Ella, restored many older homes in the Arcadia Valley. Robbie was a long-time member of the Arcadia Valley Country Club.
Robbie enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf and teaching others to play.
Private Graveside services at Masonic Cemetery will be scheduled in the next few weeks.
