Steven Michael "Mike" Hill, age 43, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 surrounded by his family.

Mike was born on May 26, 1978 in Louisville, KY to the late Freddie Steven Hill and Kathy Lynn Corum Hill. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Mike was a movie buff, and he loved music, fishing, and traveling. He was an avid sports fan, and his favorite teams were the University of Kentucky, University of Tennessee, and the Los Angeles Lakers, specifically Kobe Bryant. He was known to be a jokester and could make anyone laugh, and above all else, he loved his family dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Brandie Lynn Hill of Elizabethtown; two children, Lucas Wilson of Shepherdsville, and Jenine Johnson of Louisville; siblings, Shaun (Brittany) Hill of Louisville, and Jordan (Jessie) Wilson of Brandenburg; grandmother, Lois Allen Masterson of Brandenburg; several aunts and uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 1-8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 AM Wednesday morning.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. EDT. Burial will follow in Buck Grove Cemetery, Ekron, KY.
