Marcia Haynes White, 74, of Salem, went Home to be with the Lord on Friday September17, 2021.
Marcia was born in Prince William County to the late Albert Booker Haynes (USMC Lt. Col. Ret) and Mrs. Mary Williamson Haynes. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 30 years, Wesley Howard White, and a son, Jeffrey White.

Marcia was known for her kindness, people and animals loved her, because she loved them. She retired from the Salem Civic Center as Box Office Manager. She mothered all of her coworkers, and taught them the importance of Customer Service.
She loved listening to a wide variety of music; and enjoyed discussing songs with her family.
She loved to shop. Armed with Amazon, she discovered everyday could be like Christmas.

Marcia loved the Lord and prayed daily for other. Her love for animals was not limited to dogs or cats. Many families of Squirrels, opossums, skunks and raccoons were fed by her, as well as the birds.

She is survived by her 9 children: William Timothy Baker, Mary Bowles, Ryan White, Patricia Baker-McClure (Carl), James Baker, Jr. (Amanda), Dan Baker (Lesley), Julie Cole (David), Albert Baker (Megan), Matthew White (Saragrace); her brother, Dan Haynes (Francoise); a niece, Laura Haynes; 2 nephews: Brian Haynes (Calyn Haley), and Christopher Haynes.
Also surviving are her 21 grandchildren: Jennifer, Joshua, Jillian, Jeremiah "Jere the Bear", Bert, Abbie, Aiden, Jacqueline, Marcus, Evan, Alycia, Noah, Anaken, Layla, Morgan, Avery, Walker, Hailey, Reagan, Brennan, Jared, and 1 great-granddaughter, Kendall Ryann.

A celebration of her life will be held 10:00 am Monday, September 27, 2021 at Oakey's South Chapel. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.

Her family will receive friends on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 6-8 pm at Oakey's South Chapel.
