Cody Lee Cox-Howard, 24, of Albany, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Services honoring the life of Cody will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 21, 2021, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home, in Leesburg. Rev. Julian Griner will officiate, and the family will visit with friends following the service. Those in attendance are encouraged to wear a mask and social distance.

Cody was born on October 13, 1996, in Albany and had worked as a mechanic. He enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, hunting, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family. He was of the Baptist faith and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his baby brother, Troy "Big Man" Thomas, Jr. and stepfather, Troy Thomas Welch, Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Jennifer Lee Cox of Albany; father, Randal Lee Howard, Jr. of Leesburg; sister, Alexis Welch of Sylvester; brothers, Tayton Lee Howard of Americus, and Kadon Lee Howard of Leesburg; maternal grandparents, Jerome Casey of Albany, and Betty Hester of Albany; paternal grandparents, Randal Lee Howard, Sr. of Thomasville, and Linda Sanchez Vega of Moultrie; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
