In 1880 came to Linn Co MO where he married MARY ELIZABETH COTTER, daughter of STEPHEN W. and ELIZABETH COTTER, 3 April 1881, who died 31 March 1914. 7 children, JAMES WILLIAM died 20 Jan 1915 and JOHN LUTHER died 28 June 1916. 28 Dec 1916 he married MARY LILLIE SPENCER, daughter of WILLIAM H. and MARGARET SPENCER at Trenton, who survives with the children, Mrs O.B.TULLY of Seattle WA; Mrs STRAIT, Capper Spur CO; ERNEST of Purdin MO; Mrs M.E.(HATTIE)STANDLEE of Chicago IL; and Mrs FRANK (ESTEL)GREEN of Clarkston WA.
