Samantha was wife of Greenville Curnutte. Her parents were Martin and Frances Derefield Adams. Her children were Emma, Martin Houston, Geneva, Charley, Leo Franklin, Jessie, Pearl Elizabeth and Naomi Ester Curnutte.

Mrs. Samantha Curnutte, 74, died at a Montgomery hospital yesterday following a short Illness at her home near East Bank. Funeral services are to be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Holly Grove Baptist church.
Surviving are her husband, George V. Curnutte: three sons, Martin Curnutte of Ward, Charles Curnutte of Ohley and Leo Curnutte of New Martinsville, and five daughters, Mrs. D.
C. Hughes of Busseyville, Ky., Mrs. Peter Carpenter of Acup and Mrs. Ernest Jones of Donwood, Mrs. H. B. Dewees of Tad and Mrs. R. E McCormick of Hudnall. The body was taken to Pryor's funeral home at East Bank.
