Obituary of Gordon L. Williams
Gordon L. Williams, age 90, of Sarasota, Florida passed away peacefully on Friday, September 17, 2021 surrounded by his loving daughters, Gloria Laine, Sandy Thomas, Cindy Barry and Christine McCoy. He was born January 1, 1931 in Hall, New York.
Gordon was a devoted employee of 25 years at Morton's Market and 24 years at Publix, where he retired.
He leaves behind a daughter-in-law, Lisa and son-in-laws, Mike, John and Glenn. Gordon was a loving husband, father and grandfather to 5 children, 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Rosemarie and son, Chuck Williams.
He was a devoted family man who enjoyed being surrounded by his family and friends. Gordon was always willing to help anyone in need. Our family is truly blessed to have many beautiful memories of times shared. He will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held on September 21, 2021 at 4:00 pm at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL.
