STOW - John Richard "Dick" Jones, 85, died September 15, 2021. Born in Youngstown, he was a graduate of Rayen High School and Miami (OH) University. Dick was a Stow resident since 1971, an avid golfer, was actively involved with Holy Family Parish and had retired as a sales manager after many years in the steel industry. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Patricia; parents, John Frederick and Dorothy L. (Flower) Jones, and sister, Lenore Warning. He is survived by daughter, Meg (Chris) Haines; sons, Chris (Amy) and Brad (Ellen) Jones; grandchildren, Molly, Nicholas, Mary Kate and Patrick; brother-in-law, Edward (Mary Lou) Casey; brother-in-law, Jack Warning; numerous nieces and nephews and cousin, Betsy Jones. Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Sunday 4 to 7 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial Monday 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow 44224. Burial Silver Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, (alz.org), or The Village of St. Edward, (vsecommunities.networkforgood.com).
