Phillip Hawkins Sr. , 87, of Barham Lane passed away on September 13, 2021 at Warren Hills Nursing Home. He was born in Vance County to the late Mary Hargrove and Thomas Hargrove. He was raised by his beloved grandparents, John Henry Hawkins and Martha Hawkins.
A graveside service will be held at 12pm, Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Sunset Gardens Inc. Viewing will be from noon to 4:30pm, Monday, September 20, 2021.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara W. Hawkins; his children, Gail A. Powell, Nina Edney (Dwight), Annie Mae Williams, Yvette D. Williams,Phillip Hawkins Jr. , Jeroboam Powell Sr. (Sandra), and Emmith A. Williams; his brother Woodrow Hawkins (Jennifer); a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives.
