Bob and his loving wife, Patricia "Pat" Marie Kerr (née Jackson) moved south in the early 80's to live their dream in the warm weather and sandy beaches of Florida. They spent many days combing the sand for seashells and soaking up the sun together. After Pat passed at an early age, he continued to honor her each and every day of his life.
Prior to retiring, Bob worked as a Chemical Engineer in the steel industry for Armco in Western Pennsylvania. The bonds created in his hard-working hometown of Ambridge would never be broken during his eight decades on earth.
He spent his final years living in the Villages in order to be close to his brother, Donald Kerr. Together they enjoyed playing golf, billiards, watching the Steelers, and riding their Harleys. Bob also looked forward to dinners with his supportive neighbors at Catfish Johnnies as well as having coffee with "the boys".
Bob will be buried beside Pat in Palm City, Florida. His beloved 13-year-old schnauzer, Sebastian, has moved into a new home with the help of the team at Schnauzer Love Rescue.
