Douglas Merle FitzGerald, age 61, of Pine City. He was born November 19, 1959 in Elmira, NY, the son of the late Kenneth M. and June I. (Houston) FitzGerald. He passed away on Friday September 10, 2021.
In addition to his father Doug was predeceased by his wife of 21 years, Kristine Koehler. He is survived by his mother; along with his brothers Brian & Martin FitzGerald; and his stepfather Jack Baumgartner.
Doug served his country, being honorably discharged from the US Air Force after 8 years of service, at the rank of Staff Sergeant. In his youth and his free time, Doug loved to ride motorcycles and was fond of his Harley Davidson bikes. He will be remembered for his selfless nature as a 'do anything, for anybody, at anytime' kind of man.
