Professional Football Player. He was an American professional football player, who was drafted out of the University of Southern California in the 1974 NFL draft in round 1 as the 25th pick by the Minnesota Vikings. Prior to turning professional, he played his college ball with the 1972 undefeated USC Trojans team and played in the 1973 Rose Bowl and defeated the Ohio State Buckeyes to become the national champions. With the Minnesota Vikings, he played in the offensive tackle position from 1974 until 1984. During his time with the Vikings, he appeared in 138 games of which he started 128. He was part of their 1974 and 1976 championship team and played in Super Bowls IX and XI. He was named All-American in 1973 and received the Ed Block Courage Award in 1984.
