Rex was born in Huntsville hospital on April 15, 1940. Rex graduated high school at Madison County High in 1958. He attended Bethel College and Martin College. He later graduated from Drake State. He served his country for 20 years as a Air Force Veteran (EOD) Master Blaster. Rex worked for Circuit City for 15 years as an appliance repairman.
Survivors include wife of 58 years, son, daughter and two grandsons.
He is preceded in death by his parents George and Willie Gordon Reynolds; brother, Edward Reynolds.
A graveside service will be on Saturday, September 18th at Gurley City Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will be from 11:30 -12:30 at Berryhill Funeral Home.
