He retired from the city of Norwalk street department as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Ohio Operating Engineers Association and the Norwalk Eagles. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Angela (Legando) Horner. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Horner, whom he married on May 1, 1993; children, Aleah Horner of Milan, Madeline Horner of Norwalk and Nicholas Horner of Norwalk; and siblings, Cindy (Kane) Durfey, Joseph Horner, Michael Horner and Matthew Horner - all of Huron.
