LANA JOYCE SMITH was born April 13, 1949 in Birmingham Alabama to Bertha Smith and Joseph McCoullum. She peacefully passed away in her home on Tuesday October 17, 2017.

Lana worked at General Electric for thirty-eight years; she was also a member of the Elks Lodge for 30 years. She loved to cook, travel and spend time with her family.

Lana is survived by her daughters; Annette (Raymond Sr) Washington, Christian (Robert) Allen, and Sandra (Benjamin) Parker all of Fort Wayne IN, Lana (Teontra) Noel of Crowley TX, and Brittany Parker of Nashville TN, sisters; Donna Smith of Fort Wayne IN, Sharon (Hayward) Parker of Detroit MI, Joanne, Phyllis, Wanda, and Kathy all of Boston MA; brother, Herman Ellington of Fort Wayne IN; twenty grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Kamari Washington,William Fett and Amanda Fett. She will always be remembered by her infectious smile.
