Mary Lou Douglas, 79, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, IN on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. She was born to the late William and Artemesa (Woods) Douglas on June 16, 1942, in Fort Branch, IN.

She was a member of Enon General Baptist Church in Princeton, IN. She graduated from Fort Branch High School and got her bachelor's degree from Indiana State Teachers College. She taught school for about 5 years in Bedford, IN. She also worked on the family farm, at Azteca Milling, and retired from Holiday Foods as a cashier. More importantly, Mary Lou was passionate about her faith. This led her to introduce her neices and nephews to her love of Jesus, which continues to have a positive effect on their lives.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Jo Ann Douglas, Franklin Douglas, and James Douglas.

She is survived by her siblings, Gerald (Pat) Douglas, David (Karen) Douglas, Roderic (Suzette) Douglas, and Judith Pritchett all of Fort Branch, IN, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, September 17, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch with pastors Tammy Scheller and David Depoister officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, September 17, 2021, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Blythe Chapel Cemetery in Owensville, IN following services.
