Barbara H. Tschantz, age 85, formerly of Louisville passed away Saturday September 11, 2021. She was born May 25, 1936 in Youngstown to the late, Stanley and Hattie (Schenck) Clingerman. Barbara retired in 1991 from Youngstown City Schools where she had taught for 31 years. She was a member of Canton Calvary Nazarene Church and more currently attended New Covenant Church of the Nazarene in Youngstown.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl H. Koby in 1992 and her second husband, Warren D. Tschantz in 2015; brothers, Richard, Kermit, Quentin and David Clingerman.
Survivors include her brother, Stanley (Paula) Clingerman of Poland, OH; her sister, Doris Irons formerly of Boardman, OH and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral Services will be held Friday September 17, 2021 at 11am at Reed Funeral Home CANTON Chapel (705 Raff Rd SW, Canton, OH 44710) with Pastor Michael Adkins officiating. Calling hours will be from 10am to 11am on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
