Albert Morris Bogetti Sr. was born in Modesto California on December 30, 1931, to parents Jeanne and Antone Bogetti. Albert grew up with brothers and sisters Bertha, John, Antoinette, George, and Robert. He attended Jefferson and New Jerusalem grammar schools and graduated from Tracy High School in 1950. He married his high school sweetheart, Dorothy, in the Fall of 1950. Then he put the farming lessons learned from working alongside his father to use, partnering with brother George to start their own farming operation. Through hard work and ingenuity, over the next 70 years he enjoyed farming a variety of crops and he diversified through several business ventures. Until quite recently you could count on seeing his jeep driving around the orchards, checking out the trees.

Albert's life revolved around farming, family, and faith. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Dorothy, and children Paulette Bogetti, Paula and Jerry Finton, Angela Bogetti, Mike and Laurie Bogetti, Albert and Elaine Bogetti, his loyal sidekick, Snookums, and brother Robert Bogetti. His legacy includes 16 grandchildren, Mike Bogetti Jr., Veronica Perez, Sarah Atkins (Travis), Adam Finton (Jill), Anne DiBattista (Albert), Kate Finton, Mitch Finton, Andrea Alexander (Rob), Austin Dumlao (Kara), Anthony Dumlao (Bonnie), Aaron Dumlao (Julia), Albert Bogetti III (Nikki), Clayton Bogetti (Mindy), Domonic Bogetti (Kaley), Laryn Vicente (Joey), Liesel Jackson (Austin) and 31 great grandchildren.

Albert followed his parents' strong faith example by being a devout Catholic and active parishioner of St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Friends and family surely remember Albert as a man who loved to share his faith and willingly offered prayers for them and their intentions. Grandchildren remember Grandpa's question: "Why are you on this earth?" The correct answer is "To know God, love God, and serve God so that we can be together forever in Paradise". Albert was a good, kind, generous, and faith filled man that will be greatly missed.

On Wednesday, September 22nd The Rosary will be recited at 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 165 West Eaton Avenue, Tracy, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations be made in memory of Albert Morris Bogetti Sr. to St. Bernard's Catholic Church Building Fund.

Fry Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Bogetti family. An online guest book is available at www.frymemorialchapel.com for condolences and special messages to the family.
