Janet S. Hensley, 69, of Liberty died Sunday, June 25, 2017 at her residence.
The daughter of Ralph and Lois Mudell Watterson, Janet was born November 19, 1947 in Richmond, Indiana. She attended area schools and graduated from Franklin County High School in 1965. On January 14, 1993, she married Aaron Hensley, whom died on January 4, 2008. Janet was a dedicated stay at home mother who "felt like a kid on Christmas morning" when she was surrounded by her family. In her leisure time, she enjoyed camping, listening to George Jones and watching NASCAR. Janet also enjoyed cruising the family farm in the golf cart with her dogs.
Janet is survived by her children: Tom Fulmer and his companion, Torie Prater of Brookville; Eric Fulmer of Liberty; Kristi Koedel and her husband, Lee of Liberty; Claudia Steele and her husband, Dwight of Hamilton, Ohio; Carla Young and her husband, Dr. Jeremy Young of Mooreland; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Aaron, Janet is preceded in death by her son: Brian Watterson and her brother: Gary Watterson.
A memorial service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
