Myra Faye Davis, 86, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021. She was born October 22, 1933 in Washington County to the late Samuel and Myra Hassell Smith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, "Preacher" David Davis; George Smith; Reginald Smith; Clavis Smith; sisters, Judy Hall, Sandra Spencer, and Margaurite Smith.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, David Ashley Davis (Renee) and Paul Anthony Davis (Glenda); daughters, Linda Davis Chipman and Marilyn Davis Ray; grandchildren, Ashley Davis Ozment (Bryan), David Allen Davis (Tara), Christian Davis Hunter (Robert), Meredith Davis Johnson (Davis), Adam David Hatch (Erin), Anne Karen Terrill (Adam), Robert Evan Chipman (Katie), Nathan David Ray (Leigh), Samuel Benjamin Ray, and Ana Brooks Ray; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Forest Hill Cemetery at 11:00 am with Martha Davis officiating.
